I have to be honest, it does feel a little odd writing a blog post about my goals for 2017 at the beginning of February! But the extra month has given me some time to think about where I would like my business to go this year and to think about what goals I want to set myself. (Also in terms of accountability it’s a good idea to share my goals publicly so that I actually do it!)
As I’ve tried to organise the zillion ideas running around in my head of projects I’d like to work on, products I’d like to make for my Etsy shop and things I’d like to write about on my blog, I think I’ve managed to boil down my goals for 2017 to 2 main things:
Do great work on time, and reply to emails quickly
By replying to my emails quickly I’ll make sure that opportunities don’t slip through the cracks because I’ve forgotten about something, and my to-do list will always be up to date. In turn, this will help me do great work on time, both for myself and for my lovely clients.
Obviously I’ve also got lots of other things that I’d love to get done this year, and hopefully by doing great work on time and replying to emails quickly I’ll give myself the capacity, creative freedom and inspiration to get all those things done too! Watch this space!
P.S. Have you had a peek at the Paper Cafe shop recently? I’ve just added a couple of new greetings cards with some luxury gold foil – because who doesn’t love a bit of sparkle?! 🙂
